I am not sure how I happened upon this training center but am so glad I did. Training was easy to set up, no long wait times and training equipment that was impeccably kept. I drove down to Sac just to have this training and it was totally worth it. At the end of my training had gone from lacking confidence and literally shaking to cruising around Sac with my instructor. I highly recommend Sacramento Motorcycle Training.

I worked with Rachel after getting disqualified on my CMSP driving test for knocking down a cone and other timing issues. She was able to work with me in a couple one on one sessions and a distance ride. She set up a skills test with cones and obstacles to improve my low-speed maneuvering, self-assessment strategies, and exercises with an emphasis in cornering, braking and swerving. The following weekend we went on a nice ride to Davis & Woodland. The long ride gave us a chance to incorporate real world experience in sharing the road and practice in making yourself visible to other drivers. After two days working with her I had the skill and confidence to ace my skills test on my second round. She is willing to take her time to ensure that you become a safe rider.

I had a great experience doing my 1:1 with Rachel. I'm a returning M1 rider who needed a refresher course before hitting the road again after a 4 year break. Also, I wasn't sure what type of bike would best fit me now.
The 1:1 class was really safe and informative. Rachel made sure that I got all the fundamentals on hand before we did an amazing guided ride on the public road.
During the time of my class, Rachel gladly allowed me to switch bikes of all shapes and sizes, which tremendously helped narrow my search down.
My overall experience was awesome! Well worth the time (rush hour from SF) and money! Highly recommend them to any rider!
